How to use our Sauce Seasonings?
How to use
Use our 'Soi', 'Oister' and 'Fiish' Sauce Seasonings in place of regular soy sauce, fish sauce and oyster sauces.
- Marinate proteins or vegetables
- Add while cooking
- Sprinkle, pour or dip at the table
Adds rich flavour and boosts umami the heart healthy way.

Ways to use
-
Sprinkle seasoning as is
- Create a sauce by mixing the seasoning with water. Our guide is to mix 1 part seasoning with 2 parts water (add more water if you want a thinner sauce)
How much to use
Our guide is to add 1 teaspoon (2g) seasoning for one meal or serve.
Example
- To use our Sauce Seasonings for one meal, add 1 teaspoon (2g)
- To use our Sauce Seasonings as a sauce for one meal, mix 1 teaspoon seasoning with 2 teaspoons water. This makes 3 teaspoons sauce
- To use our Sauce Seasonings for four meals, add 4 teaspoons or 1 tablespoon (8g)
- To use our Sauce Seasonings as a sauce for four meals, mix 1 tablespoon seasoning with 2 tablespoons water. This makes 3 tablespoons sauce, around 0.25 cup
Adjusting to taste and recipes
You may use more than the guide above at first while your taste buds adapt to a lower sodium diet. You may also use it in more than one part of a recipe (e.g. during marinating and to make a sauce for a stir-fry).
Example
- Instead of adding 1 teaspoon for one meal, you may add 1.5 - 2 teaspoons (3-4g)
- Instead of adding 1 tablespoon for four meals, you may add 1.5 - 2 tablespoons (12-16g)
