Korean Seafood Pancake (Haemul Pajeon)

Ingredients you need:
Pancake
ā„ ā 1 bunch green onion (280g), cut into 5-7cm length, pat dry
ā„ 1 carrot (120g), cut into matchsticks, pat dry
ā„ 200g seafood marinara mix, pat dryĀ
ā„ 1 egg, beaten
ā„ 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil (40mL)
ā„ 1 cup wholemeal flour (140g)
ā„ 1.25 cup icy cold water (312.5mL)
Dipping Sauce
ā„ 1/2 packet of Heartful Flavours Korean Bibimbap (12.5g)
ā„ 30mL boiled water
ā„ 2 tsp white vinegar or lemon juice (10mL)
ā„ 1 tsp sesame oil (5mL)Ā

Create This in Easy Steps:
1. In a large bowl, mix wholewheat flour with icy cold water. Mix in green onion, carrot and seafood to form the pancake mixture.
2. Heat 0.75 tbsp oil in a non-stick pan over medium high heat, ladle half of the mixture into the pan and spread it evenly into a thin round shape. Drizzle half of the lightly beaten egg on top. Cook for 3-4 mins until the bottom is golden brown. Turn it over, adding 0.25 tbsp oil around the edges. Cook for another 3-4mins. Repeat this step for the remaining mixture.
3. Mix 1/2 packet of Heartful Flavours Korean Bibimbap with 30mL boiled water, sesame oil, white vinegar or lemon juice, and optional chilli in a bowl, stir sauce until consistent.Ā
4. Serve and enjoy pancake with dipping sauce.
