Ingredients you need:
Poke Bowl
♥ 375g-450g vegetables (E.g. 2 cups kale and spinach (75g), 0.75 cup beetroot (125g), 0.5 tin drained, cubed, 1 small carrot (75g), julienned, 0.5 cup edamame (75g), 0.5 small red onion (60g), sliced thinly)
♥ 0.5 avocado (75g), sliced
♥ 1 spring onion (15g), finely sliced diagonally
♥ 2 tsp sesame seeds (6g)
♥ 1.5 cup cooked brown or basmati rice (212g) (≈0.5 cup dry 100g)
Marinade Dressing
♥ 0.5 tsp ginger (1g), grated
♥ 1 tbs sesame oil (20mL)
♥ 1 tsp rice vinegar or apple cider vinegar or lime juice (5mL)
♥ 3 tbs boiled water (48mL)
♥ 0.75 tbs Heartful Flavours 'Soi' Sauce Seasoning (6g)
Choose your protein:
♥ 250g sashimi (salmon, trout, tuna or kingfish), cubed
♥ Alternatives: 200g tinned fish OR 350g firm tofu OR 100g textured vegetable protein OR 300g chickpeas
(half the amount if choosing two proteins)
Create This in Easy Steps:
1. Mix Heartful Flavours 'Soi' Sauce Seasoning with water, vinegar, sesame oil and ginger. Toss in protein source.
2. Place 0.75 cup cooked rice at the bottom of the bowl. Top with carrot, kale, beetroot, edamame, red onion and avocado. Add protein source with dressing, sprinkle over sesame seeds and garnish with spring onion.
3. Serve and enjoy!
